Just a few quick reminders. Tomorrow, 12/7, is the date that all costumes are due. Please don't panic though. Bring in as much as you can for costumes and props and tomorrow will be the date we'll begin figuring out where the gaps still are. If you've forgotten the costume needs or props, please remember to check on the website at www.calaisdramaclub.blogspot.com . By tomorrow, costumes should be in a bag with your child's name on it and left in Cat's office until performance. Ulrica Hudson and Sue Cioffi are parents who are great to check in with if you have costume questions and Ulrica has picked up pig noses for the piggies in Piggie Pie.
We'll be meeting for a long practice next Saturday, 12/12, from 9-1 pm. Be sure to send your child with a bag lunch and a good attitude.
We'll have a dress rehearsal on Friday morning 12/18 at 10:45 if any of you need to join us then rather than the evening performance. Please be sure to send your child in with hair and makeup already completed. All children should wear a little eye liner, and lip coverage (chapstick or lipstick) to be sure their features are prominent on stage.
If anyone is interested in taking on the task of a cast party the night of the performance, just let us know. We can do nothing or we could do something simple like juice and cupcakes, sheet cake, or cookies.
Michelle Tofel and Carolyn Beauregard have agreed to take on the task of painting our backdrops this year. Thanks Michelle and Carolyn. We're hoping to complete this with little expense so if any of you have latex paints you have around the house and are willing to share we need: Dark and Light Grey, brown, tan,
green (bright, medium and dark), yellow or gold.
