The Wizard of Oz, performed by our students in the kindergarten, first, second, and third grades was a huge success. We could not have been happier with the amazing work by the students and the support and help by families and school staff was just as amazing. Thank you to all that helped pull this effort together.
There have been several people in the community who have asked about the panels generously painted and donated to the Drama Club by local artist, Scot Richards. The panels have been beautifully painted to capture a piece from each significant player and event in the show. It was our intention to continue to display these panels after the showing but have found, we have no room! It is just about impossible to find a spot in the building, that isn't covered by windows, isn't concrete, isn't leaking, or is a grand enough space to be deserving of the display. So, with Scot's permission, these gorgeous panels are available for sale. The panels would be ideal in part or whole to decorate a child's room or playroom and it would be a shame for them to go to waste. All proceeds will go to benefit future productions by the drama club as we always have need for funds to buy supplies, music and script copyrights. If you are interested in purchasing these panels please make an offer in writing to Mrs. Korb by Friday, March 14, 2008. Remember, it's for a good cause!
